Head of Corporate Recovery
Grade: VP to SVP
Prime Responsibilities
> Planning, directing and overall management of respective Non-performing Assets and lead corporate recovery team in effective and efficient manner.
>Strengthening NPL recovery actions for Corporate portfolio.
> Contribute to Bank’s sustainable growth through maximizing recovery and minimizing NPL Assets. >Arranging necessary approval from Senior Management and or Board, as applicable.
> Achieving the recovery target from delinquent portfolio to contribute to the income of the bank.
> Managing the portfolios and increasing recovery in line with the budget.
>Developing recovery strategies and procedures to strengthen recovery.
> Ensuring that effective process and controls are in place with the EBL policy and local laws and regulatory requirements.
> Maintaining inter departmental and external communications related to the departmental activities and recovery.
> Keeping liaison with in-house lawyers and external retainers for early disposal of priority case to boost up recovery.
> Addressing critical issues of the clients time to time and escalate to the department.
> Managing and monitoring the recovery team well and keep them driving towards recovery activities.
Unit Head, Corporate Recovery
Grade: AVP to SAVP
Prime Responsibilities
> Recovery from Non-Performing Loans (NPL) and Written off (WO) Portfolio relating to corporate accounts.
> Inspire recovery team to achieve their planned recovery activities.
> Call/visit and make necessary communications with the customers and keep record of the same.
> Prepare Memo and execute restructuring and rescheduling accounts and monitoring them regularly. > Ensure legal proceedings are taken timely and keep liaison with internal as well as external
lawyers regularly.
>Steps to decrease the classified ratio at an expected level.
> Contribute to meet up the Bank’s profit targets.
> To make action plan under the guidance of department policy manual and statutory circulars, Acts and guidelines.
>Supporting coaching and developing team members, wherever applicable.
Assistant/Associate/Senior Relationship Manager, Corporate Recovery
Grade: Officer to SPO
Prime Responsibilities
> Achieve recovery target of the team set by the Senior Management.
> Ensure timely steps are taken by concerned persons in line with recovery procedure.
> Call, visit and make necessary communications with the customers and keeping documentary evidence of the same.
> Recommend legal steps as and when required.
> Follow up of legal steps of allocated accounts and act accordingly.
> Handle customer complaints and resolve those amicably.
> Manage court case activities and liaison with panel lawyers for early disposal of case.
Qualification & Other Competencies
> Head of Corporate Recovery: Minimum 15 years of experience in corporate/ commercial business/ credit risk management/ special asset management/ corporate recovery.
> Unit Head, Corporate Recovery: Minimum 7 years of experience in corporate/ commercial business/ credit risk management/ special asset management/corporate recovery.
>Assistant/Associate/ Senior Relationship Manager, Corporate Recovery: Minimum 2 years of experience in corporate/ commercial business/ credit risk management/ special asset management/corporate recovery.
> Minimum graduation with relevant background. Eastern Bank New Job Circular 2024
> Understanding of the full credit lifecycle.
> Good IT skills and knowledge.
> Excellent communication and leadership skills along with great interpersonal and customer relationship.
> Multi-tasking, pro-active and keen to achieve set target.
